He sat there not knowing what to do next as the world sped up and slowed down parraellel to his coming in and out of consciousness. His name was Victor and he was at this moment trapped between his chair and the steering wheel which was closer to him then it should have been. His accident made heaedlines as one of the worst in Philadelphia history with over 25 cars involved and over 15 deaths. Victor was trapped and a flash of pain shot through his leg as he looked down and saw that his ankle was jerked sideways and the bone was sticking through his skin. He thought the flash was bad but at the sight of his jagged bone he let out a blood curling scream as the pain washed over him and he passed out.
Victor woke up still in his car on route 676.
He looked at his leg, and proceeded to pass out again.
The next few hours passed in a blur, he saw a man opening his door. He saw the inside of the ambulance. He saw a crowd of doctors around him, and he saw his mom crying next to his bed. Once the pain killers told his brain everything was fine Victor was able to become lucid and conduct a conversation with the pretty nurse who brought him a tray of food. It was late at night and everyone in his family had gone home so Victor watched some televeision as he ate his food and upon compleetion of both the episdode of Seinfeld and his vanilla pudding the familliar drowsy feeling engulfed him and he went back to sleep.
In the middle of the night Victor had an allergic reaction to a chemical in the vanilla pudding that allowed it to be heated in the microwave and he died in his sleep. The End

A Metaphysical Connection
Her eyes shimmered in the soft light of the candle, adding to the intensity of the moment. Ive looked into those eyes a thousand times but this time, at that moment, they were not just a pair of eyes. The blue eyes I have often admired as being deep and wonderous had taken on another dimension and I fell into her eyes. I felt the heat emanating from her body and her soft smooth skin was crying out for my touch. I could see her in front of me, and I could feel our flesh connect but our connection was not only a physical one. I focused on the windows to her soul and how I had a desire to unite her essence with my own and create a bond that can transcend time and space. As I was falling into her eyes, I touched her soul, and she touched mine. For an instant that lasted an eternity we danced and shared our opposing energies with completely balanced and metaphysical harmony. Her yin was all up on my yang. Our passion grew and flooded our emotions until we were engulfed in wave after wave of intense physical, emotional and spiritual pleasure. The moment was fading and we both knew it, soon we would both be absorbed again in the mundane and the trivial. We stared back into eachothers eyes reestablishing our metaphysical connection and as I was slowly sinking back into my own head and away from our immaterial bond I saw her smile and I knew she was now a part of me.

Chapter one of Death Dream
My eyes were closed but I sensed the suns warm rays against my face and the crisp water on back. I had so sense of time and space and I could have been there for a minute or an eternity but I eventually had the idea to sit up and look around. There was water as far as I could see in every direction but the water was unlike any I had ever seen. Though the water must have been hundreds of feet deep I could see clear to the bottom, and all the sea dwelling creatures that inhabit it. The Light shone deep and darkened nook and cranies irradiated with light. As I tried to get my bearings on the aquatic landscape I dove into the water and didnt feel a pressure change as I got closer to the bottom and the air passages of my nose had been flowing and I could inhale water as thought it was air. For the first time noticed that the creatures swimming in the water were in every direction. Thousands of tiny fish all swimming and changing direction simultaenously. There was also what looked to be some kind of crab crawling along the bottom that had to have been as big as a mack truck. I was so excited about my ability to breath underwater and with the amazing sight before me I barely realized the speed at which I was zooming around under water. I could focus my energy to my feet and propell myself at an incredible velocity. The exhilaration burst through me as I created a powerful force that propelled me 44 feet into the air. And as I broke the plane between water and air I felt the temperature and pressure drop and the warmth of the Light in the sky washed over me. Right when gravity caught me and the half moment that I lay motionless and floating midair that was a good moment...I held onto that moment. When I snapped back into reality and started my descent I effortlessly dove back into the water with no splash at all. I happened to catch sight of an old sea turtle that had a pocket watch around his neck. I swam over to the turtle and asked him why he has a pocketwatch, He did not respond, he just looked at me with intensity, as if i had offended him by asking such a stupid question. I asked what he was keeping track of, and again he just looked at me with his peircing eyes. I had a suspicion though that he had a valuable peice of knowledge for me. "Does time effect your life" was the question that came to mind next, the turtle smiled and said, outloud in plain english, "Whats time?"
I swam away from the turtle with his question on my mind. What's time? I took in the scene around me as i was lost in my own thoughts. In the series of causes and effects that get strung together to make up my life we call the distance between those actions and reactions time. I felt as if i was learning about time from a book because I had no sense of it in my life. I'm just swimming around taking in the sights living my life. I got to a ravine with a cave of jagged rocks and menacing creatures crawling about and I saw an eel swimming in figure eights around two of the jagged rocks. I approached the eel and asked it why it it was swimming in the same place over and over, and he said because I know this place, it is familiar to me and there are no surprises. I said but dont you know that you could swim in one direction and see new things everyday and meet new people and live a new day each day. The eel looked at me and said maybe one day, but we both knew that day would never come.
I had already met two creatures in the enviornment that was clearly not the one I had come from, though I couldnt remember anything from before just waking up. I stopped swimming at making this realization and concentrated on my racing mind. I must be dead and I am creating my life as its happening. Now I remember, I thought this is what heaven looks like so when I died I came here. I saw a figure swimming in the distance towards me and trying to contain my excitment I was staring into the eyes of the most beutiful woman I have ever seen. Her eyes were pale blue and she was wearing only a smile as she took me by the hand and led me down, down, down towards the bottom of the ravine I had seen from before. It went on for a long time and just when I thought this was going to go on forever I rememebered, I'm dead, i need to paint whats going to happen, and as soon as the concept buzzed through my head I saw a cave in the side of the ravine. This time I led my dream girl and we swam up wards a little bit to an opening where the air had been trapped in a bubble. When our heads broke the surface of the water we were at the footsteps of an underwater palace made of glass. It was enourmas and since it was made of glass we could see around the entire edifice. I could see a kitchen with tantalizing food already prepared and looking delicious, and several bedrooms with beds that looked softer than clouds. This will do for now I thought, as me and the woman of my dreams opened the front door.
